Love is in the air! ABC News correspondent Gio Benitez married his boyfriend, Tommy DiDario, in a romantic ceremony in Miami on Saturday, April 17.

The couple tied the knot in front of their closest friends, family and Benitez’s fellow ABC News journalists inside of the Walton House, a historic English-style cottage in Florida, according to The New York Times.

DiDario’s sister, Megs A. DiDario, officiated the event, for which she became a Universal Life minister.

The pair met through Instagram in January 2015. Benitez, 30, asked for his partner’s hand in marriage in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris in September.

“Today I said yes to my true partner in life, couldn’t be happier to stand next to you forever,” DiDario, 30, wrote on Instagram at the time. “Celebrating a magical day in the city of love! Much thanks for all the kind words and well wishes!”

Benitez frequently appears on Good Morning America, World News Tonight With David Muir, 20/20 and Nightline. He has won two television news Emmy awards for his work.
